For over 30 years, we have helped more than 55,000 people from 27 countries pursue their goal of becoming a Counsellor. Educating qualified Counsellors is our sole focus. This focus gives us some very unique insights into the needs of our students.
For our international students, we understanding it is exciting, yet daunting, to move to another country. For this reason, we have a strong focus on supporting our international students in transitioning to living and studying in Australia.
Counselling…an Enriching Vocation
The demand for counsellors and professionals with counselling skills is highly needed in many countries. Counsellors are playing an important role globally to ensure more equitable access to mental health care and outcomes1.
As a Counsellor, you can make a real difference within your local community. We’ve assisted people from all backgrounds, whether it be adding counselling skills to their current skillset or working in a as a Counsellor. Many of our students are seeking to acquire counselling knowledge and skills to work in their communities, both in Australia and other nations. Irrespective of your background, our students all share a strong desire to help and support others.
With at least one in ten people worldwide living with a mental health disorder, there is a growing recognition and need worldwide for Counsellors, and Professionals with counselling skills2.
In Australia, employment for counsellors has risen strongly in previous years and is expected to grow another 14.2% over the next five years to 20263.
