Governing Board

AIPC’s Governing Board (Board of Directors) has the responsibility for ensuring the Institute fulfils its responsibilities according to its Constitution, its purpose, and codes of practice, and ensuring AIPC continues to meet its legal and financial responsibilities. The Governing Board has oversight of the AIPC’s funding, strategic direction and management.

The Directors are:

  • Mr Craig Jones (Chair and Executive Director)
  • Mr Colm Saunders (Executive Director)
  • Ms Dee Hardy (Independent Director)
  • Helen Lawrance (Independent Director)

Members of the Governing Board are:

  • Professor Shelley Kinash (Chair of Academic Board)

The Governing Board has established the Academic Board to oversee the higher education academic governance of the Institute. The Academic Board is responsible for overseeing, monitoring and providing guidance on higher education academic matters in compliance with current Higher Education Standards, and pertaining to the operation of AIPC’s higher education courses.

Academic Board

The Governing Board has established the Academic Board to oversee the higher education academic governance of the Institute. The Academic Board is responsible for overseeing, monitoring and providing guidance on higher education academic matters in compliance with current Higher Education Standards, and pertaining to the operation of AIPC’s higher education courses. The Academic Board has established the following committees to assist in its responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Teaching Committee
  • Course Advisory Committee – Counselling

The Assessment Review Working Party reports on assessment matters to the Teaching & Learning Committee.

AIPC Leadership Team

The Institute’s Higher Education (HE) Leadership Team is responsible for the effective and compliant conduct of AIPC’s education business and courses. The Executive Leadership team is lead by the Chief Executive Officer and consists of the following appointments:

  • Chief Executive Officer: Ms Sandra Poletto
  • Provost: Professor Christy Collis
  • Program Leader – Undergraduate: Dr Jo Stephens
  • Program Leader – Postgraduate: Adrian Holmes
  • Head of Teaching and Learning: Dr Raja Kannusamy
  • Head of Registration and Accreditation: Ms Anda Davies
  • Head of Student Recruitment: Mr Ben Luther
  • Head of VET and Operations: Ms Hayley Wood
  • Operations Manager: Mr Michael Johnson

Higher Education Campuses

AIPC’s higher education courses are delivered from the Institute’s Higher Education Campus at 148 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. This campus has 3 lecture rooms, library, meeting rooms, and office space for academic staff.

For courses that require residential schools, students can attend AIPC Student Support Centre at:

  • Sydney: Level 5, 31-39 Macquarie Street, Parramatta
  • Melbourne: Level 8, 474 Flinders Steet, Melbourne
  • Perth: Unit 5, 14 Brodie Hall Drive, Bentley
