No, you do not need to be an AIPC student or graduate to enrol in MISIS.
No, the resources have been developed to be broadly accessible to anyone.
Unfortunately, we are not able to swap the MISIS with other AIPC Study Majors.
All learning resources are accessible through a unique, secure login, specific for the course. You nominate your own password upon registration. You will be provided access details immediately upon registration.
Yes, the entire course, comprising all 5 units, is available online and can be done entirely at your own pace.
The program includes self-assessments and self-exercises. There are no formal assessments to be submitted.
The units within MISIS are not (government) accredited units. They are for the purpose of continuing education.
Each MISIS unit covers a very contemporary topic of mental health, referencing the latest science and research on the topic. As such, no RPL is provided.

The program is delivered online and is self-paced. Upon registration you receive access to all the learning material for all units.
Yes. Once you are registered, you are provided access to the MISIS Learning Portal containing all units and all learning material.
MISIS was designed to be a flexible, personal development program. Although many of the concepts you will learn from the program can be applied to professional settings, the self-directed nature of the assessments and exercises means we do not issue individual CPD Certificates to participants (which is often a requirement to accrue CPD points/hours).
MISIS is comprised of 5 separate specialty units. Each unit comes with a workbook, readings and video lecture (45-minutes average length). Assessments are self-assessments and reflections, contained within the workbooks. There are no formal assessments. The learning volume for each unit is estimated at approximately 20-hours; 100-hours for the entire program.
As the program is not formally assessed (it contains self-directed assessment and reflections), no Certificate is awarded upon completion.
The MISIS program was developed by AIPC’s internal Project Development Team.
Once you register for the MISIS program you will have ongoing access to the program and all learning resources. There are no time limits.
