Yes, some of the mental health professionals who may be able to accrue CPD hours include, Counsellors (ACA Endorsed), Community Workers (ACWA Approved), Mental Health Nurses, Primary Health Care Nurses, Social Workers (AASW Endorsed), General Practitioners (GPs), Psychologists (Active CPD), Occupational Therapists.

Yes. When you complete the course, you’ll be issued with a Certificate in Mindfulness Practice Digital Badge and a Certificate of Attainment.
A Digital Badge is a form of Digital Credential (also known as ‘micro-credential’) that can be verified/validated online. A digital badge signals your achievement to potential employers and stakeholders, as they are able to verify your learning/skill acquisition outcomes in real-time, over the web.
In addition to your Certificate in Mindfulness Practice Digital Badge, you’ll receive a downloadable Certificate of Attainment, which can also be used to demonstrate attainment of your qualification, and can be printed (if you would like to display it in your office/workspace).
Once you enrol in the program, you will have full access to the course and all learning resources. The learning material includes a Workbook, Book of Readings, two video lectures and an assessment for each Unit. You can complete the course at your own pace and access support from our team as required.
The course material, including all workbooks, readings, video lectures and assessments is all accessible via AIPC’s custom Learning Management System (LMS). It is very user friendly and simple to navigate.
Yes, the course is entirely self-paced with no deadline.
The course is comprehensive. Each unit of the course has been developed to be approximately equivalent in volume of learning to a unit from a Diploma level qualification. On average, each unit is expected to take 3 to 4 weeks.
The course has been developed for learners with an existing knowledge of helping and mental health. It is especially suitable for practicing helping and health care professionals such as counsellors, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, medical practitioners, diversional therapists, life coaches, those in learner- and worker-wellbeing roles, and others who help people learn skills to support their wellbeing.
Yes, however, please be aware that the course is best suited to learners with an existing knowledge of mental health.
Each Unit of the course includes a number of multiple-choice assessments. To pass the Unit, learners need to attain a 70% or greater pass rate. Assessments can be re-taken as many times as required to obtain a pass.
