Associate membership is available for those individuals
with an interest in counselling and the counselling
profession. There is no minimum level of formal counselling
education or experience required for this level of membership.
Associate membership is popular with practicing counsellors
who do not have a formal education in counselling but
would like to network with other professionals. Associate
members are able to remain informed about the counselling
industry through receipt of the Institute’s counselling
newsletter, ‘The Professional Counsellor’,
Australia’s only national counselling journal.
